Welcome 1st Year Students!
Thanks for your interest in the 1st Year PREORDER SERVICE. The online form service has now ended, in order for us to process and prepare your orders for Move-In weekend. If you didn't place a preorder, don't worry. Just stop by the Bookstore with your course schedule & we will pick your books for you in person. We love helping students at the Co-op Bookstore. And we look forward to seeing you!
Pre-Order Pickup Dates: Pre-Orders are available for pick-up during the first three days of Orientation Week, starting with move-in day on campus. Get settled into your new dwelling and then come on down to see us. We’ll be open for pre-order pickup on the following days:
Saturday, September 4th 10am – 5pm
Sunday, September 5th Noon - 4
Monday, September 6th 10am – 5pm
You’ll find us in the basement level of Johnston Hall (residence building with the clock tower, facing Johnston Green).
Please note that Saturday and Sunday the store is closed to everyone except Pre-Order pick-ups making them the better days to get your books.
The Co-op Bookstore is open for 1st Year students including Pre-Order pick-up starting on Sat. & Sun.
If you placed a Preorder, simply identify yourself as a pre-order customer and we’ll grab your order for you. We’ll then review it with you, explain what is required or recommended, what’s new and used, and any other questions you might have. It’s a great idea to bring a copy of your course schedule with you so we can verify that there were no mistakes made in the course codes.
Any Pre-Orders not picked up by the end of Monday, September 7th by 5pm will be re-shelved for other students. Should exceptional circumstances prevent you from being able to pick-up your order those days and you would still like it, give us a call and we will try to make alternate arrangements.
It pays to be a member of the Guelph Campus Co-op. We’re by students, for students and we provide the best possible prices on your textbooks. Co-op members get a 5% member discount at the Co-op Bookstore .
If you are spending $200 or more with us over the school year it would be of economic benefit to you to join the Co-op. Our cashiers will be able to explain all the benefits of Co-op membership to you, and apply the membership fee and immediate discount to your purchase should you choose to join the Co-op.
Last year the Co-op rebated over $122,000 to our members.
When you are satisfied with your order we’ll send you to our cashiers where we will gladly accept Cash, Debit/Interac, VISA, MasterCard, and personal cheques with proper identification. Please note that we are unable to accept the Hospitality Retail Account.
A note about credit cards: We do check signatures on credit cards at the Co-op Bookstore. If you are wishing to use a credit card other than your own to purchase your books, and the cardholder will not be with you when you pick-up your books, please have them contact our Bookstore Manager AHEAD of time to authorize your use of their card. We can be reached at 1-800-869-2773.
We look forward to meeting you this coming fall and answering any questions you may have in person.
